Usage:

Epilux 45 ZNPH Primer delivers long-lasting corrosion resistance with excellent adhesion and barrier protection. It offers very good flexibility, abrasion resistance, and excellent weatherability when overcoated with suitable topcoats. The coating withstands continuous heat exposure up to 90°C and intermittent exposure up to 120°C, while providing excellent resistance to water, solvents, and salts, and fair resistance to mild acids and alkalis. It dries to touch within 40 minutes, is handle dry in 3–4 hours, and hard dry within 12–16 hours at 30°C. Recommended dry film thickness is 40–60 µm per coat, providing a theoretical spreading rate of 7.5–11.3 m²/litre. Overcoating can be done within 1 hour or up to 7 days, depending on conditions.

Applications:

Suitable for application on mild steel, galvanized iron, aluminum, stainless steel, and FRP laminates. Ideally recommended for use on structural steel, transformers, bulk handling equipment, earth-moving machinery, and other industrial components requiring durable anticorrosive protection. Serves as an excellent primer under epoxy and polyurethane topcoats in multi-coat protective systems.
